Give Those Kids Whistles

When you are out camping in the wilderness with children it is very important that they have a whistle on them at all times. If they wander off and get lost this could literally be a lifesaver. We actually spent a night in the mountains last year where a family had lost a small child. He simply wandered too far from their campsite and they couldn’t find him for almost 4 hours. Luckily he was found, but if he had a whistle, a lot of time and fear could have been eliminated. Having a whistle is a must have if you are taking children camping.
