Wysi Wipe

August 26, 2007 - Tag: Camping Equipment

I just have to tell you about this cool product I came across on the internet. I got a free sample in the mail, and I’m telling you, I was really impressed. Wysi Wipe is a compressed towelette that requires water to expand. They are 100% natural, and biodegradable. They are small and compact and perfect to take camping and hiking, as they take up less than an inch of your pack, and weigh only 2 grams.

WysiWipe

Not only camping and hiking, but they are so handy you can take them in your car, diaper bag, purse, anywhere that you may need a wipe to clean up spills, and messy faces or hands. You can check out the Wysi Wipe site for ordering information, and to see videos of them in action, but I thought I would make my own, to show you that they REALLY WORK!

I’m impressed! The Wysi Wipes should be in everyone’s backpack!

A really useful firstaid kit should always be accessible for health emergencies around your workplace, residence, or on road for traveling purposes. This firstaid kit should have appropriate antibiotics and antiseptic in it. The really good firstaid kits should contain cold pack to reduce emergency arthritis pain and muscles aches.

Wow, those are way cool! And take up way less space than the package of wet wipes I have in the van.

Wow! I love camping, and if these really do work, they’d be perfect (especially for backpacking)!

huh! I first time see this kind of product. So need arrangement before you use it! Its a good idea for those who travel/ camping around. As I see the image attached here. There is 100 pieces of towellete in a packet. Not bad

This is a really great invention…if money is no object. They are a little expensive though. On the site they sell a 100 piece bag for $12, about $.08 per piece. They do have discounts for higher volume, but its still a pretty expensive wipe. I assume the price will come down once they get some distribution rights through cvs or something

I agree Dorative, they are a bit pricey…but the price isn’t that bad if you use them exclusively for camping and trips.

They aren’t practical for every day use.

I just hope people will still dispose of them properly, and not leave them lying around where an animal might eat them.

Just realised the pack looks like marshmallows too :)
