vacationing or (camping out) in a log cabin is always such a great time. Even though we are in Missouri and there are not a lot of mountains there are still many places to visit that are similar to this log cabin you wrote about. The website http://www.showmelakes.com has a list of a bunch of nice cabins/places to stay in Missouri.

How can you beat having the privacy and intimacy of a mountain cabin rental? Well other then buying one, renting one should do just fine. Depending on the time of year we suggest booking the season before. In other words if you want to book a summer cabin make sure you do it in winter. With the financial crunch, road-trips to cabins have become more popular.

I liked your blog. I did read the part about avoiding Jackson Hole for discounts. I think that is somewhat tru if you are talking about major holiday and peak seasons. My suggestion is try booking in the off season. Which here in Jackson Hole is April -June and Sept. through Early December.
